Position Overview:

The Regional Director is responsible for the daily operations of the agency’s home and community living adult hospice teams and adult palliative services teams in collaboration with the Access Department, Hospice Care Centers, IPC Units, Finance and other supportive departments. They are responsible for the organizational development, implementation and evaluation of the operations for clinical services in a specific region which supports the agency’s strategic plan and mission.

Experience and Skills

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid Auto Insurance
  • 5 to 7 years of management experience
  • Hospice experience
  • Proven expertise in leading change and staff development
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Management skills
  • Organization skills
  • Knowledge of working with budgets and general financial principles
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • Knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations
  • Strong computer skills

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Masters in Healthcare or Business
  • Formal management training
  • Hospice and Palliative Care Certified (HPNA
  • Hospice management experience
