Position Overview:

The Senior Home Health Administrator, under the supervision of the Vice President of Home Health, coordinates and supervises the day-to-day operations of the Home Health team. Ensures delivery of consistent, world- class and continually improving home health services in compliance with federal, state and local regulations. In collaboration with Learning & Development and Human Resources, ensures success and development of Home Health team members.

Experience and Skills

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), Health Administration, or related field required
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Valid Autho Insurance required
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership and/or supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical or administrative home care experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
  • Knowledge of home health industry and ongoing changes
  • Ability to communicate effectively across organization; within all levels of leadership; with patients, volunteers, and other customers
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment with multiple priorities and objectives; to operate with a sense of urgency while maintaining flexibility and effectively managing priorities meeting deadlines
  • Ability to maintain organizational confidentiality which includes, but in not limited to, information about patients/families, volunteers, employees, donors and Agency processes
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong management skills

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
