Position Overview
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists the registered nurse with caring for patients. They assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene for patients who residing at the CareCenter. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) also gives support to family members and reports any changes in patient status to the registered nurse.

We are also currently accepting applications from new graduates and are willing to train on site.

Minimum Hourly Pay Rate is $16.00

Work Schedule – (3) 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with alternate weekends

Experience and Skills

Requirements for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) positions

  • High School Diploma or GED recognized by the Board of Education
  • Training in HIPPA, Infection Control, safety, personal care, and documentation
  • Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
  • One to three years of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience in nursing home/assisted living facility, preferred
  • Experience working with terminally ill individuals, preferred
  • Certain positions require Pediatric skill competencies on an infant, toddler, preschool, school age or adolescent
  • Good inter-personal skills; communication skills verbal and written
  • Experience using Hoyer lifts, gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, canes, shower benches/chairs, electric beds, and other medical equipment
  • Able to use cell phone, EMR computer, voice mail
