Job Description:

The Human Resources Coordinator facilitates the human resource processes for all business locations. This role provides administrative support to human resources functions to include record keeping, project assistance, auditing of human resource documents and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) data entry.

The Human Resource Coordinator position will work out of both our Barrington and Glenview, Illinois office locations.

  •  Facilitates employee transfers, promotions, and terminations by coordinating process with Human Resources Business Partners
  • Maintains employee files while ensuring compliance with state, federal and regulatory records retention requirements
  • Manages audits I-9’s, employee files, and headcount reports
  • Assists with exit interviews
  • Maintains and updates human resources SharePoint
  • Assist human resources team members with short-term and long-term projects
  • Provides general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, spreadsheets and reports, arranging meetings, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic and hard copy, tracking deadlines, compiling materials, and project plans
  • Attends webinars and other educational training to increase knowledge of new laws and best practices and acts as subject matter expert when needed
  • Completes employment verifications within a 48-hour period
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service when dealing with internal and external customers

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
  • Training in human resources
  • HR Certification preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in human resources or other related field
  • Experience working with the following systems preferred: Paylocity, automated payroll system; HRIS systems; ATSonDemand, applicant-tracking system
  • Human resources knowledge including applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employment (for example, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA)
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, customer service, mathematical, analytical skill set
  • Problem-solver capable of troubleshooting system issues drive them to closure with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention-to-detail and follow-through
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, work environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook 365, SharePoint, Skype)
